Taylor's B-Day

Taylor's birthday was last week. Since she was the first 9-incher to live in Spicemuffin's home, she's pretty darn special! And so, she gets a birthday party.
Technically, us dolls never age unless your current owner decides to assign us a new age. :) Thus, us three 9-inchers are currently 13 years old.

Here's the birthday girl, Taylor Angelique!

I also wanted to show you our 'rooms'. Hey!!!!

Hallo! Ivy here.
I was typing, this is MY post!
This is MY blog! Anyhoo, I can't let those 9-inchers crowd out the guy figurines. Especially my favorite little LOTR guys.
Doesn't Gandalf look so serious? I love his staff. Of course, Sam is my favorite. :)
*ouch*
Okay, Sierra, you may continue your post now.

THANK you! :)
 Moving on...
Anyhoo, anything in our rooms are mostly collected. Some things are given.
Since Karina was the latest small doll, she has the least stuff in her room. For now, a shell and a keg that she found on the beach.
Here's me in my room! Gandalf, Sam, and Frodo jump at any chance to be behind the camera, so they happened  by. :)
I have a petrified piece of wood as my sofa, and a reddish rock as my chair. Spicemuffin gave me a little art frame that she stitched herself! Also, I got myself a ceramic calf/lamb. I think. :)
Here's Taylor's room! Karina and I pitched in and got her special edition aircraft--it came with a red ribbon! One is a Japanese Zero, and the other is an early (early 1900s) airplane. She also found a silver kitty ornament, and a Santa figurine at Christmastime.
So, for Taylor's birthday celebration, we decided we should do something before dinner. Spicemuffin made a party dress for her, and Karina did Taylor's hair.
First, we explored Spicemuffin's home. We had a scavenger hunt to find every single flower in the house, and had Taylor pose besides one of the Valentine's day bouquets.

Then after we ate dinner (delicious italian food), we watched a movie! I love movie nights. We all love the Avengers guys. So, since it was a special night, we watched Captain America and Thor! Spicemuffin won't let us watch Iron Man. *pout*

Don't worry, we didn't drink any wine. :) We just took turns trying to climb up the slippery sides.

We stayed up till 3 am in the morning! It was the most fun I've ever had in my life. :D I hope to have the same sort of fun on MY birthday too. :)

Thanks for reading!

Disney Dolls

Today, I decided to play in Mama's room. I climbed up on her chair...

Why they make chairs so tall is beyond me.

 To my surprise, Mama came and sat besides me. {note from spicemuffin--ignore my messy room!}
'I have something to show you,' she said.
She turned on her computer, and pulled up Google Chrome.
To my surprise, she typed in the Disney store URL! I was a bit confused. What was she going to show me?
I was shocked when she clicked on Rapunzel's link! 'Isn't she cute? Her hair looks amazing. I've never had a jointed doll before...'
'What do you think?' she asked.
'Don't you like me?' I whispered.
'Of course! I wouldn't love any of you any less if she were here.'
'Then...I guess it would be fun if she came.'
I looked at her. She was cute in her own way. Then I saw her lovely jointed elbows and wrists.
I looked at my own inflexible arm, and sighed.
'Well Rapunzel,' I said, 'if you come, you're going to have quite an adventure!'

It's me, Ivy!!

Okay, not wanting to panic but...

People are taking over my blog!!

Anyway, Ari has convinced me that I need a new name. We can't do Simply Ivy, Always Arizona, and Kylie's Letters as a title!

This is where you come in. I need you to help me come up with a name. Yup,
please comment below telling us your name ideas and description ideas for this blog!

Thank you kindly. :)
Please, scroll down to see Kylie's post. I'm feeling very nice today. :)

Kylie's Letters: A Day in the Park

Hello! It's Kylie, with my very first post. I lightly mentioned to Arizona that I might be posting...I hope it's alright! To be truthful, I'm nervous of Ivy, and that she'll be mad at me for posting on her blog. Oh well. :)

Anyway, I wanted to tell you about myself {don't worry, I'll still tell you about the park!}

I'm 10 years old, and I'm from Ethiopia. My name is Kylie Grace, and I'm an adopted sister. I love chocolate! I can't sing, {unlike Nahji} but I can play the piano. Sometimes, I try to take pictures with Mama's great big Nikon camera. It's huge and heavy! My sisters say I'm a 'people pleaser'. I guess that means I please people? I think writing is fun. I hope you all will be my friends!

Now to the story.

It was February the 4th. Mama took me and Ivy to Elliebob's house! It was very pretty there. I took a few seconds to run around the grass, and scramble up their tree. I'm proud to say none of the other dolls can keep up with me. Eventually though, Mama made me go inside. Elliebob's house had the shiniest smoothest wood floors I had ever seen! It was all I could do not to just sliiiiiiiide across that floor.
Then, Mama and Elliebob took me into Elliebob's bedroom. Sitting to the side was this beautiful tanned Mexican girl. She had the prettiest hair I'd ever seen.
"Hi, I'm Kylie," I said.
"Hello," She said. "I'm Consuelo."
"How long have you been here?"
"Since before Christmas! How about you?"
"I just got here Christmas day!"

Well, needless to say, we became good friends in a matter of minutes. Consuelo and I were interrupted suddenly when Elliebob suggested, "Let's go to the park!"

Elliebob's mom was kind enough to give all of us a ride to the nearest park.

It was exciting riding in the car! Here we are, looking out the window.
The grass was a bit dry and prickly. Since it's winter, a lot of the grass is dead.
Consuelo was thrilled to be out in the open. I love her gentle sweet nature.
My hair is so unruly! You wouldn't believe how hard it is to put in a ponytail. Consuelo insisted it was really cute. She enjoyed bouncing my curls around. I laughed. "Try brushing it!" I teased.
Just look at this interesting tree! One of the good things of being a doll is being able to see the littler things. We can really appreciate everything. After my dark, bumpy, scary UPS trip here, anything is great! Mama told me that Consuelo and I were bought and shipped at the same time. She even told me that we were next to each other the whole time! Too bad we couldn't talk. It would've been impossible to speak through all that cardboard and plastic.
Consuelo gave me a boost, and I shimmied up that old tree. Doesn't it look amazing? Kind of spooky though. A great "dolloween" tree!
Consuelo showed me her favorite path. It was nice and clean and neat. Okay, maybe not 'clean' to you Americans. :) But in Africa, the paths are nothing but little lanes where there are no weeds. It's so dusty, hot and dry!
We talked as we walked. Before this, I'd never taken a long walk with a friend. It was quite a new experience for me!
 Here we are!
Consuelo then went back on the grass. I stayed on the path.
Woah, look at this tree! Isn't it huge? It was pretty darn awesome.
I love this picture of myself, if I do say so. It looks like a real photographer did it! Sorry Mama, not to say that you're not a real  photographer. :)
But, there were more places to explore. Mama had to pull me away! I waved goodbye to my tree.
Then, I found this leaf. Truly, this is the biggest leaf I have ever seen. Seriously.
"Look, Mama!" I called. She walked up. "I found a giant leaf!" To Mama, it wasn't very big. But she praised me on my find.
Towards the end of our walk, we found unusual picnic benches! I would never be able to eat at this table. It's huge!
On our way back, I showed Consuelo a good spot for a campout. It was nice, dry, and shady underneath those branches. That's what I call instant shelter.
They were branches from coniferous {something along those lines anyway} trees, as you can see from this picture.
There was another branch not too far away. I sat on it. Well, I can't say it was a comfortable seat! Yeah...
Can you spot us? You may have to click on the picture to enlarge it. :)
Oops! After the above picture was taken, I fell down! I think I tripped on a dirt clump.
Mama came and helped me up. :D

When we went home, we got to eat pizza and breadsticks! Yum! We never eat pizza. Here at Spicemuffin's home, we are all on diet. We usually only eat Challah bread, other than that, no wheat, grains, occasional potatoes, no rice, and nothing with a lot of sugar in it.

Well, enough about me. That was my day in the park! Hope you have a fun time today. :)

Spoiler: I can't keep a secret. We might be having a giveaway this month.

Rahel Arrives Part 2

Then, quicker than lightning, Rahel pulled away, and dashed into the house. I sighed, and followed. {sorry no pics on this post}

She rapidly and excitedly introduced herself to my sisters. Of course, she and Jubilee became very good friends. She loved Fidelia!

I followed my sisters around. Sure, it was nice that there was another doll. But, I confess, I liked our little group before she and Nahji came. There were just too much arrivals.

Nahji was so excited. Eventually, she came over to my side. "Ivy is not happy?" She said to me. I didn't reply. Her eyes were so pitiful. "Ivy does not like Rahel."

"I like her okay," I said with a smile, hoping she'd go. This did not cheer Nahji up. She pouted. "You want Mama to change her personality?"

"No!" I was quick to say. She smiled. "Come. We're about to have our names changed!" This piqued my interest. I followed her, and sat down next to Jubi. "What's going on?" I whispered.

"Some of us have requested that their names be changed!" Mama had Rahel on her lap. "I've been watching you for a while, Rahel. I think I have a few suggestions for you!"

Rahel squirmed excitedly. "Here are your choices: Kylie, Kallista, and Mira." Mama smiled. Rahel thought for a while. "I like Kylie ," She murmured. "Then from now on, you are Kylie Grace. It's official! Welcome to our family, Kylie."

Rahel {oops}, that is, I mean Kylie squealed happily. Then, I realized that I was happy too! It was me who had the wrong attitude. I realized I loved her too.

To my surprise, Nahji leaped up onto Mama's lap. She was agile as an elf! "Well, I think one of these names will fit you," Mama said. "Jessamine, Kate, Nali, or Jewel."

"I like Jessamine and Kate." Mama grinned. "Then, your new name is Jessamine Kate." She smiled, and Nahji, err, Jessamine clapped her hands excitedly.

All of a sudden, I walked up, and hugged Jessamine and Kylie. Kylie looked at me with an adoring look. I was in love. I would love my sister forever.
