Chatting

I really don't know how that Jubilee does it!
My sister Joy and I were just sitting on our favorite shelf exchanging stories, and then SNAP!
We realized Jubi took a picture.

Us when Jubi took the picture .  .  .

And us after!

Have a nice day .  .  .

Tour of the House

Hi! I think that I'm getting used to this blogging business. I'm not so nervous and shy anymore. Mama is proud of me.
Anyway, I thought I'd show you our little home! That's where the Rose Hollow Dolls (All my friends, Joy, and I) stay sometimes. Let me show you around.

When you go through the front door...

The first thing you notice is the table.
It's a unique homemade table that looks rather like a puzzle. Us dolls think it's great!

There's usually always something on the table. Today, there are some various items, as you can very well see! :)
I found some money, a lemon cake, white sugar, and a silver cup filled with milk! I drank the milk before Joy came home. ;)

Next, we come to the counter. It's only a couple steps away from the table, and it almost touches the fridge! My bestie Jubilee loves to whip up cakes and cookies on this counter.
As you can see, there are pots and pans and a bowl out. We are always prepared to cook! :P

You turn to the left, and there's a fridge practically in your face. :) I'm not kidding! Everything's really cramped in our home, but we love it.

We took snappy pictures of our friends and posted them on the fridge. Isn't it pretty? Mama made our fridge out of an old shoebox. It's so hard to imagine that a nice cold functional fridge can come from an ordinary shoebox.

Wanna see the inside? Of course! Here you go...

It's chockablock full of delicious foods to eat! Eggs, ice cream, pie, vegetables, etc.
As soon as you exit the kitchen, you come to the bedroom. The bedroom takes up most of our space.

See the chocolate colored bed? That's my bed. Velvety luxury is what I call it. The tall bed with a pillow for a mattress is where the littlest dollies, Peace and Naomi sleep. Check out Mama's block at http://agdollstuff.blogspot.com/ to see who Peace and Naomi are.
The yellow bed is where 7 y.o. (in doll years) Fidelia sleeps, the green bed (behind mine) is where Marie sleeps, and the bed behind the chest with the flat blankets is where Joy sleeps. You can't see Jubilee's bed from here.

Ahhhhhh, comfy.

Here's the nightstand. We have a lot of stuff on the nightstand. Here's a close up view...

See all the cute things? Jubilee found all these items. We have a small chest with a pearl flower bouquet , and a small perfume powder container, a moon nightlight, a ABC block, and two lavender air fresheners.

The nightstand serves another purpose, however.

Ta-da! It's our clothes chest! Many of the clothing items and accessories we have are right inside this bamboo chest/nightstand. Isn't it lovely?

Our bathroom isn't much of a bathroom. I guess it would be more sensible to call it a washroom, as all we do there is wash our faces and hands. There is only a towel and a soap pack/ice pack.

See that white bunny? That's the soap/ice pack. It comes with a tag with a sweet poem.
"Boo Boo Bunny is not a toy
But aids the pain and brings some joy
It has a pocket to hold the ice
And makes the hurt feel better and nice"

Hee hee! My friends like that funny little ice pack.

Last thing is the T.V. The Rose Hollow Dolls love to sit and watch the shows. We especially love to watch reruns of movies, such as Toy Story 1, 2, and 3.

There's an interview on at this time.

Now that the tour's over, would you like to see the whole house with all my friends and I? Well, certainly!

See Marie with Boo Boo Bunny? I'm so tired that I took a nap. :)

Have a great day!

Rainy Day Outing

Today was a gloomy day. I looked despondently out the window and wondered what to do.

I strolled over to the computer and sat down. When I checked the list of movies, I found that there was a replay of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
Naturally, I was very excited! I hadn't seen this movie before, and wanted to check it out.

After obtaining permission from Mom, I headed out the door.

As I headed along the sidewalk out in the misty rain, I met with Jubilee!
I was pretty excited.

I told her all about the replay, and asked her if she wanted to come along and see it as well.
She quickly and whole-heartedly agreed! That's what makes a best friend, right?
As soon as we agreed, we set off together to the uptown movie theater.

Soon, we arrived at the movie theater. It has lovely authentic wooden accents, desks, and walls. Some of the carpets are cream white, but most are red.
We soon went to buy tickets with our rainy day money for the biggest theater!

"Oh, I'm so sorry," The cashier apologized.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"There aren't any more regular seats." The cashier, Linda, replied.
I looked away, disappointed.
Linda looked pityingly at us.
"Tell you what," She said, "I'll give you box seats for the same price!"
Jubilee and I cheered...very loudly!

We rushed over to the theater. The movie was almost starting! With our popcorn and soda, we slid into our seats just as the lights were dimmed.
The movie was fascinating!

After the movie ended, Jubilee kindly walked me home. "Great movie!" She said. "I know!" I agreed.
"See you tomorrow?" I asked. She nodded.
We waved.

It was a great day. I enjoyed myself, and found another rainy day joy!

Hi, and Welcome!!

Hello!
I'm Ivy.
I'm naturally shy, so Mama encouraged me to make a blog so I can find other doll friends.
Even though I'm not even verbally speaking, I'm a little nervous. I'm more excited, though.

Well, I'll just start with what happened today.

There was a downpour yesterday at our house! It was captivating! We even saw hail. It was very wild and stormy with wind speeds from 20 mph and up.

But today, the temperature was mild and the sun shone benevolently on us.
I decided to go outside.

Here I am relaxing on a boulder in our front yard...

Here I am relaxing in front of our new Japanese Maple...I think! :)

Now I am walking down the sidewalk in a nearby court.

(Psst! If you want to see the photos bigger, comment and ask me and I'll resize them)

When I got home, I realized that I should be starting school.
Here's me reading my Bible-one of the first things I do every single morning.

I hope you will enjoy this simple blog of a doll's life.
Have a fantastic day!

:)
