Ah, sweet school

Here I am in my room, with Joy and Tiffi chatting in the background. :) I finally got my final list of classes. Here they are...

8-9: Algebra
9-10: Literature 8
10-10.40: Social Studies
10.40-11: Recess/Protein Snack
11-12: History
12-12.40: Foreign Language
1-1.30: Lunch
1.30-2: Grammar

Yep!
Between algebra and English lit, I bumped into Arizona. It's good to see she's found her BFF. Today, like every other day, she had her arm linked with Natalie Prince's. "Guess what Ivy!" Natalie grinned. "At class, we have a sample wheel of fortune thing. I suggested we spin whether we should have recess or continue with our other subjects. The teacher made one little sliver 'recess' and the rest was 'continue'. You know what? The wheel decided on RECESS!"
I laughed. That's Natalie for you!
At Lit. class, we were assigned an essay project on...15th century French fashion!! I am SO excited. I'm particularly excited  because I'm attending the Renaissance faire this year. I won't have a costume...but it'll be a bunch of fun anyhow. Mama is making herself the most beautifullest costume there ever was!
It's made up of...
*An Egyptian Cotton Burgundy skirt reaching to the ground
*A flowing white cotton chemise
*A burgundy vest. Hopefully, it'll have gold trim!

Ooo, she looks so stunning in burgundy. I could faint. Not quite literally.

At recess, all the girls played Red Rover. Oh, my arms are so sore! Still, it's quite fun to charge into a line of girls shouting with all your might! Have you ever played Red Rover?

After that came History. I find it boring. We're focusing on Ireland around the year 1000 right now. To help me learn, I read the Viking Quest series. I LOVE them. The teacher assigned us an essay. -sigh-
Foreign language was fun, thankfully.

We're going to learn the {unusual} language of Tagalog. The language teacher is Filipino, and she wants us to learn her language since it is unique and unusual. Ako si Ivy! That means, my name is Ivy. I think it'll be fun! The other girls are having trouble. ^-^ ha ha ha!

And finally, after all that studying, there's lunch! Today, I had a Turkey BLT sandwich with a romaine salad and Vitamin Water. Yum! Julie had PB & J with an apple and some milk. I'm not sure, but I think Tiffi had some New England Clam Chowder with some sweetened milk and ice cream. That would explain her intense sugar rush...

Lastly, and most definitely least came Grammer. Ugh. I hate diagramming! My least favorite subject of all time. I'm sure you understand?


What do you do after school? Everyday, I go home. The other girls like to do special classes and activities and stuff, but not us Rose Hollow dolls. All 8 of us go home. Today, we had some apple cobbler waiting! Sometimes though, I go to Julie's house. Last time we visited, we had the great pleasure of watching Star Wars!

Well, that's the whole day-in-the-life thing. Hope you liked it! I don't really have time for much else...
