A Walk

I went for a walk in our backyard today. It's like the most gorgeous park you've ever seen!

The light streaming through the trees was amazing, and it was delightfully cool outside.

I stopped to touch the delicate baby lilies. They just began to bloom, with their tender and beautiful petals. I love the lilies.

I paused a minute on the smooth flagstones. They felt cool and strong beneath me. The grass whispered and sang to the flowers and the rocks. The sound was wonderful.

In no time at all, I reached the side yard. I dared not venture any further. The pitbull next door is scary! I turned, and stepped onto the concrete. Mama was there.

 She offered her hand, and I put my tiny vinyl hand in hers. It felt warm.

We held hands as we walked back to the house.
A walk is totally my favorite thing to do to clear my mind. Nature is always the best thing to clear your mind with.
It's breakfast time, and I'm not about to miss that! I'll post again soon. :)
