So Tuesday morning, I hopped out of Mama's van. I was excited to spend another summer day with Julie!
As I walked up the hot red pathway to Julie's house, I could see someone standing on the porch! I didn't know who it was. I felt a bit irritated by her presence {dolls have stronger feelings than anyone}, but controlled it. Who was this stranger?
"Hey!" I called out. The girl had extremely long hair! If I had had a pair of scissors with me, I would have chopped off a couple of inches off. The girl turned her head calmly with a little smile. I confess I didn't like her one bit.
"Hello then, and who are you?" I questioned. "I hope you're not a saleswoman, because solicitors are not welcome here." I stoutly declared. "Aloha!" She greeted me with that same smile, impervious to my words. I was put off a bit, and calmed down slightly. "I am new here." She said gently. "Guess so," I replied, taking a glance at her long sundress.
All of a sudden, the door opened. Julie must've heard us conversing, and wondered what was happening. "Kanani!" She yelled excitedly.
My mouth dropped open in amazement. This was Kanani? Kanani nimbly jumped up onto the doorstep. "It's me!" She smiled. Julie was excited. "Kanani, I can't believe you're actually HERE!" She yelled.The next thing I knew, Julie had her arm around Kanani's shoulder, and was walking her inside. All the while, they were chatting amiably. Of course. I followed them glumly, feeling left out and alone. As soon as they stepped inside, they slammed the door in my face.
A glistening salty tear made its way down my cheek and dropped to the ground. I stemmed the tide of tears, and told myself that 13 year old dolls do not cry. However, my tears of sorrow soon turned to anger. Kanani was replacing me!
That moment, I decided that I was going to find a new bestest best friend. If I wasn't Julie's best friend, I wasn't going to be hers.

I'm so sorry! I hope it works out okay. :)
Oh dear. The infamous third wheel. :/ Hmm...I would find out more about this possible salesperson, though. Why is she so important to Julie? And does she sell hair extensions?! {cuz honestly, that hair CAN'T be real}

IKR? Well, Kanani is Julie's new adoptive sister. :) I suppose I have to forgive her. XD
Oh, I'm sure something will work out, Ivy!! Good luck!! Maybe the signature I made for you will cheer you up (it's on my website on the YouStuff page).
